Cryosurgery is not a cure-all treatment. It has a typical success rate of 85%. This is very comparible to the success rates for traditional open surgery. The main benefits of cryosurgery is that it is minimally invasive with virtually no recovery period. As an office-based procedure, the expense is significantly less than other forms of surgery and is an option for patients with no insurance or high deductibles. 95% of cases require one treatment.
